Philippe Lachance's practice extends mainly into civil and commercial litigation, as well as dispute resolution. He is particularly sought after for his expertise in litigation mandates in real estate (commercial leases, divided co-ownership, emphyteusis, servitude, etc.) and construction law. Having taken part in major disputes, Philippe Lachance continues to appear at all levels of the civil courts of the Province, including the Quebec court and Quebec Superior Court.

While providing support to the team in all stages prior to a trial or the settlement of a case, he also carries out the required legal research and the drafting of legal opinions and proceedings.

His resumé outlines Philippe Lachance's previous experiences as a researcher at the Centre for Research in Public Law of the University of Montreal, at the L. R. Wilson Chair in Information Technology and E-Commerce Law, and at the Canada Research Chair in Collaborative Culture in Health Law and Policy. In 2017, he interned with the Honourable Paul Mayer, a Quebec Superior Court judge.
